This policy explains how AlgoClick Ltd ("AlgoClick", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data. It covers this website (algoclick.ltd) and our use of third-party platforms, including the Google Ads API.

1. Who we are

AlgoClick Ltd is a software and digital media company. We build and operate our own portfolio of consumer research websites and provide software development and digital marketing services.

For the purposes of data protection law, AlgoClick Ltd is the data controller for personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect

2.1 Information you give us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and whatever else you choose to include. We use this only to respond to you and to manage the resulting business relationship.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Our web server keeps standard access logs. Each entry may include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string. These logs exist to operate the service securely, diagnose faults and detect abuse.

2.3 Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not run advertising or analytics tracking on its own pages. No consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to. If we introduce analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Note that our consumer brands are separate websites with their own privacy and cookie policies — see section 8.

2.4 Web fonts

This site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. To serve those files, Google receives your IP address and browser information. We do not use Google Fonts to track you, and we pass no other data to Google through it. See Google's Privacy Policy.

3. How we use personal data

  • To manage advertising campaigns for our own brands and for clients who have authorised us to do so
  • To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents
  • To comply with our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Legitimate interests — operating and securing our website, responding to business enquiries, and running our advertising operations, balanced against your rights and freedoms
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to provide services you have engaged us for
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain or disclose data by law
  • Consent — where we ask for it explicitly; you may withdraw it at any time

AlgoClick uses the Google Ads API to manage and report on advertising campaigns in Google Ads accounts that we either own or have been explicitly authorised to manage on an advertiser's behalf.

  • We access Google Ads account data only after the account owner grants access through Google's own OAuth consent flow, and only within the scopes granted.
  • The data we access is advertising and campaign data — campaign structure, keywords, budgets, bids, and performance metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions and spend.
  • We use this data solely to create, manage, optimise and report on advertising campaigns for the account concerned.
  • We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, for security purposes, or where required by law.
  • We do not use Google user data to serve advertising unrelated to the account it came from, and we do not use it to build independent user profiles.
  • Access can be revoked by the account owner at any time via their Google Account permissions, after which we stop accessing that data.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We also operate in accordance with the Google Ads API Terms of Service and the applicable Required Minimum Functionality and data-handling obligations.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our instructions, and only as far as needed:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to run our servers and deliver this site
  • Email providers — to send and receive correspondence
  • Google — where we operate advertising accounts through the Google Ads API
  • Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where necessary
  • Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose

7. International transfers

Some of our providers operate outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on an appropriate safeguard — such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses — to protect it.

8. Our brands and third-party links

AlgoClick owns and operates Best4.me, Software.Fish and NerdBible. Those are separate websites with their own privacy and cookie policies, and some of them earn affiliate commission from products they list. This policy does not govern them — please read the policy published on each site.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any other third-party site we link to.

9. How long we keep data

  • Server access logs — retained for a limited period for security and diagnostics, then rotated and deleted
  • Email correspondence — kept for as long as needed for the business relationship, then deleted
  • Advertising account data — retained only while we manage the account, and deleted or returned when the engagement ends
  • Records required by law — kept for the period the law specifies

10. Security

We take security seriously and design for it from the start. This site is served exclusively over HTTPS with modern TLS, sends strict transport security and content-security headers, and runs on patched, access-controlled infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect data proportionately to its sensitivity.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data deleted
  • Restrict or object to how we process it
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent
  • Complain to a data protection authority

To exercise any of these, email partners@algoclick.ltd. We will respond within the period the applicable law requires — normally one month. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

12. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
